Outreach, Fellowship & Fundraising
Financial Boot Camp - WOW partnered with Home Bank and IHM Young Adult Ministry to host a financial literacy training to over fifty community members
Health & Wellness Fair - WOW hosted a community health and wellness fair that included local doctors, nutritionists, and exercise professionals
Date Night at the Movies - We believe that women who play together, stay together! Our members regularly get together to do activities like attend the movies, play games, and we also have a book club!
South Louisiana Giving Day - Funds raised were allocated to the following schools: J. W. Faulk Elementary, Lafayette Middle, Carencro High, and Northside High.
Unity Campaign - We reached our annual, matched campaign goal in 2020, which allows us to continue to be of service, mentorship, and support to underresourced schools in north Lafayette.
Again, these are only a sample of activities that Women of Wisdom makes available to its membership. If there is something that you are interested in and think could benefit WOW, we’ve either got it going on or would love to make it happen. We want to hear from you!
